At Yateley School we are determined that every student should be able to access ICT in lessons.  We have a school wide wireless system and all students will be able to access the internet.  They will also be able to use Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint even if they don’t have the software installed locally.  There will also be many subject specific applications available for them to use.

All Year 7 students should come to school equipped with their own device and parents/guardians need to research the following question below.  Please be aware that mobile phones will not be suitable for all the educational activities in school.  Please note that for students on Free School Meals (FSM) or who have been on FSM in the past six years, we will provide the necessary equipment free of charge unless parents wish to opt out of this provision.  We will be contacting the parents of all such students in the near future and they will not need to take any further action.
